Why become a Steering Board member?
The Future Faculty Steering Board consists of 14 early- and mid-career researchers from the Faculty of Medicine. We meet ten times a year to organize events, work with our task forces, and contribute to discussions in other boards where Future Faculty has representation (e.g., the Faculty of Medicine board, the Docent committee and the Swedish National Junior Faculty). As a Steering Board member, you support your peers and have the opportunity to influence broader faculty decisions.
What happens next?
After nominations close, all Future Faculty members will be invited to vote in the election in May. The new Steering Board will meet in June to elect a chair and vice-chair for the coming term. Other responsibilities will be assigned during a kick-off meeting in August.
