Grant Landscape in Sweden

A Future Faculty and Career Support seminar, 17 November

Are you looking to explore funding opportunities for your research or innovation in Sweden? And how do you find your way through a landscape of research councils, innovation agencies, foundations and charities, each with their own priorities and their own calendar?

Future Faculty and Career Support invite you to an afternoon seminar on the Swedish grant landscape. Whether you are preparing your first application, planning the funding behind your next career step, or simply want an overview, this is a chance to hear from advisors who work with research funding every day.

Speakers

  • Anna-Karin Wihlborg, research funding advisor
  • John Philips, research funding advisor

The speakers will map out who funds what in Sweden, from the government research councils and innovation agencies to private foundations and disease-specific organisations, and how the calls fall across the year. They will also cover what to think about when matching a project to a funder, and where applicants most often lose ground. There will be time for your questions.
