The Careers Centre and Future Faculty are partnering to host a seminar series dedicated to advancing academic careers. This is the inaugural event of four.
Are you an Early Career Researcher (ECR) eager to explore academic career pathways at the Faculty of Medicine and learn what qualifications are needed for teaching positions?
Join us to hear from Helena Persson, Senior Lecturer and a key member of the Faculty’s working group on ECR career development (2024), as well as Anders P. Håkansson, Professor and Chair of the Academic Appointments Committee.
Helena Persson will provide details on career paths, and with Anders P Håkansson we can discuss applying to tenured positions.
Let’s learn more together!
After a successful start, the second event from the series of 4 seminars is coming.
This time, we discuss “The-grant-writing-strategy” and focus on how to extract the “quintessence” of your idea and align it with funding agency requirements.
Let’s continue expanding our knowledge and supporting each other!
The single-cell team at the Center for Translational Genomics (CTG) in Lund currently has an offer for new users that is open during the first quarter of 2025 (until the end of March). The offer means 50% off on some 10x genomics products. We find this to be a good opportunity for early-career researchers to enable some otherwise quite costly analyses.
If you want to know more about this offer or you think that this is interesting but need help to plan your project, feel free to join staff from the single-cell team in an Online Drop in Session, hosted by Future Faculty on Wednesday 5th March between 12:00-14:00 on zoom.

We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible!
